Conventional Dentures in Sudbury and Sturgeon Falls
Conventional dentures are made and inserted into your mouth after your teeth have been extracted and the gums and jaw tissues have healed. This is what we typically see with patients who are already denture wearers and are looking for a new set of teeth. It could take a few months for the gum tissue to heal completely, and during this time you will be without teeth. Allan and his team deal wonderfully with conventional dentures as they understand that the period of going without teeth can be rather tough. We are available for all kinds of assistance to make the taxing process easy and comfortable.
Cleaning Your Dentures
Though this kind of care is suggested for conventional dentures, we strongly advise you to follow these tips for all kinds of dentures.
To clean your dentures, take them out from your mouth and run them under water to flush off any free food particles. Then wet a dental replacement brush or a customary delicate fiber toothbrush and apply a gentle cleanser. Ordinary toothpaste is excessively grating and ought not be utilized for cleaning false teeth. Delicately brush all surfaces of the false teeth including under the catches where microbes gather. Be mindful so as not to harm the plastic or twist the connections. Wash your false teeth well with clean water before putting them back into your mouth.
